Hope and Healing

Our Values

We seek to foster a supportive environment — in alignment with Christian values — where individuals and couples can explore their feelings and emotions, concerns, hurts, fears, etc., with the goal of finding renewed hope and purpose.

How We Can Help You

Therapists

Shari Gilbert, LMFT, (retired R.N.)

I have two passions: to see people come to Christ and to see believers grow.  My goal is to meet you where you’re at and walk with you to a healthier, stronger place. For those of different faiths, I offer counseling grounded in traditional values.

I have been in the healing professions throughout my adult life, initially as a Registered Nurse, working in many different specialities (NICU, pediatrics, and Clinical Trials for Hepatitis C). I’m grateful for both careers and maintain an active interest in medicine and alternative healing.

Thomas Gilbert, LMFT

I am a CA licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Masters degree in Counseling Psychology and an Undergraduate degree in Religious Studies.  I work with individual adults in areas involving anxiety, depression, grief, communication and life-stage transition.  I also assist individuals whose desire to express themselves through music, writing or other art forms poses challenges involving purpose, identity and motivation.

For those desiring a spiritual approach to their problems, I provide therapy within a faith-based, Christian framework grounded in five decades of experience.
