What does the word Advent mean?

The Latin word adventus gives us the term advent, which signifies ‘coming’ or ‘arrival’ and reflects a sense of anticipation. We believe this beautifully describes how God enters our difficulties and brings hope, healing, transformation, and change.

Are your beliefs in alignment with the Bible?

Yes, we joyfully proclaim the unchanging truth of the Gospel, rooted in the inspired, inerrant, and infallible Holy Bible, which guides our faith and mission. We worship one true God, eternally revealed as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, united in love and purpose. Jesus Christ, fully God and fully man, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross to atone for our sins, rose triumphantly, and ascended to heaven, promising to return in glory. The Holy Spirit transforms lives, convicts hearts, indwells believers, and equips us to share God’s love. Though created in God’s image, humanity fell into sin, yet God offers salvation by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone, granting eternal life to all who repent and believe.

Empowered by the Holy Spirit, we strive to live holy lives, loving God and others with compassion and humility. We eagerly await Christ’s return, when He will judge the world, raise the dead—believers to eternal joy, unbelievers to judgment—and establish a new heaven and earth where God’s righteousness reigns.
